I admire, respect, and love him with all my heart.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true.
Who am I, Heather Ann Burgess? What makes me tick? What do I love? What is my passion? What makes me, me? What sets me apart? These are things I apparently know somehow, but things I don't often think out because they have become such an innate part of me.
Who am I? I'm Heather. I absolutely love life and all the crazy exciting things that come with it. I love laughter. I love learning. I love relationships and the closeness that can be had between people. I love growing and thinking and making choices. I love figuring out new things. I love the click in my head when some hard concept finally makes sense. I love the feeling of the spirit, the sure knowledge that I am doing the right thing at the right time in the right place. I love the gospel, and the amazing joy it brings. I can not imagine my life without the comfort of my Savior and my Heavenly father, and their support in my life. I love theatre, live theatre. Intimate theatre. Musical theatre. All theatre, of any type in any space. I live to sit and be captivated by a theatrical performance. I live to create a piece of theatre. I live for the feeling I have when I've just come off the stage after performing and I've heard people cheering, just for me. I live for watching people I love express themselves brilliantly through theatre, and for the recognition and applause they get. I live for the feelings I have when I step out of a theatre after an incredibly moving production and I once again marvel at the power and the beauty of live theatre. I live for the faces of children, so excited and fascinated by a new world being created right before their eyes, for their excited questions and their voices singing along with something they have grown to love. I live for conversations about a theatrical experience and what it made me feel, what it made me think, how it changed me in some way. I live for Shakespeare, for Sondheim, for new theatre, for old theatre. I live for the rush of ideas I have as I read, or watch a play and think of the possibilities that lie within just one work of art. I marvel at the beauty of a set or a lighting design or how an actor can embody a character so intensely. I sit and I think, what would my life be without theatre? Where would my passion come from? Where else would I learn and grow and love as much as I do in the theatre? And, how can I give these feelings to other people? Theatre is what makes me tick. Theatre is what I love. Theatre is my passion. Theatre has made me the person that I am today. My love for theatre, and my passion to share that love with others, combined, is what might just set me apart.

He is so darling. I miss President Hinckley so much... but, I know that President Monson was chosen by the Lord.
Thanks for this post, Heather.
Love you!
